Reviews and Ratings
The hotel has a great location right in the heart of Chianti, which is convenient for exploring the area and especially for the Chianti Wine Festival in September. The rooms are clean but on the smaller side, and there’s a lovely terrace that unfortunately can't be used due to smoke from a nearby chimney. While the service is friendly, I wished for a bit more attention. Overall, it was a decent stay but had a few drawbacks.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location was great, close to everything, and the rooms were clean with stunning views of the Tuscan hills. However, the presence of a kitchen chimney nearby created a constant smoke issue, which made it hard to enjoy the balcony. Service was decent, but the dining experience left a bit to be desired, especially with the breakfast timing. Overall, it had its pros and cons.
The hotel is situated in a perfect spot in the central square of Greve in Chianti, which makes it incredibly convenient, especially during events like the Chianti Wine Festival. However, the rooms are quite small, typical of the old buildings in the area, and there's an off-site public parking option. While the staff is friendly, the ambiance of the dining area could use some improvement.
The hotel is in a prime location right in the central square of Greve in Chianti, making it a great base for exploring the area. The rooms were clean, and I was thrilled with the beautiful views of the Tuscan hills from my balcony. However, the balcony couldn't be used during kitchen hours due to smoke from the chimney, which was a bit disappointing. The breakfast was decent, but I wish there were more options available before 8am.
The hotel primarily operates as a restaurant, which means the atmosphere is lively and vibrant. We had a lovely little balcony with a Tuscan view where we could relax, but unfortunately, it was often unusable due to smoke from the kitchen chimney. The location is very convenient, with easy access to nearby vineyards and restaurants. While the breakfast selection was nice, the dining area felt a bit too simple for my taste.
